sheena has been a band freak for the last 2 days. hee...

yesterday was my first band practice with NYPSO. i felt super duper happy holding and playing my flute again. i really missed it so so badly. although im no longer using a miyazama, im still contented with the one im holding now. BUT, i seriously need to get use to straight flutes which i last played in Sec 2 :/
the pieces were rather challenging, and i kept forgetting the key signatures ):
21 days to audition. seriously doubt i'll make it. its okay, i just wanna go holland!
my section people are nice. one guy asked, so whats exactly your age now? so i was like, 19. HEE. then he was like, HEH? same as us? they were rather shocked. but ended up laughing at me cos i am in year 1 yet they're year 3. ohwells, my fellow year ones commented that i look young ie, born in year 1992. WAHAHAHA.
the conductor asked if im scared of him. and i gave a very duh no. he's seriously very very nice. ms sia is definitely much more strict than him, but i guess its her strictness that made TKGSSB and MJCSB where they are now. oh ya, my batch people were very whoa about me coming from tkgs. i was stunned when one actually said that people for syf to hear tkgs play. interesting.

and so, today i went back to mj for band.

didn get the chance to talk to ms sia cos i had to leave when she was still conducting. sad. the band sounds good, a gold shouldn be a problem.
to my dearest flautists, GAMBATTE! im sure you people can do it. although i cant be there to cheer you guys on nor will i be there for the results, i am mentally with you guys. jiayou jiayou. remember 3Ts, ting(listen), tune and tone.

other than band band and more band, i had MASK FITTING too. it was very fun! look horrid with masks, but who cares. our class had lots of fun camwhoring. but i do not have the photos yet. the following pictures are taken from my phone.
